- MISSIONS: Our 2024 1st Quarter Missions Focus supports Healing Art Medical Missions to Haiti and Higher Ground mission to at-risk women in Nepal. Don’t miss the hand-made crafts by Nepalese at-risk women on a table in the foyer. Proceeds go to support Higher Ground outreach. Check ‘em out!! Collection will be Sundays, Apr. 7 & 14. 2024 MISSIONS TRIP! We would leave on Thursday Oct 3 out of Detroit. Fly into Sibiu, stay until 17th of October, then fly from Sibiu to Detroit. Right now the flight costs $1652 . Liviu charges $12/ night for lodging and $20/ day for food,. for a total of $2200. Extra money is needed for spending & projects. We would be doing home visits, evening meetings, crafts with children, elderly, and widows. There would be projects of painting and repairs to some homes and cutting wood for their winter supply. I’ll know more later. Anyone interested in going should let me know by April so we can get tickets . The price has gone down and we need to get them purchased before they increase. We will be having fundraisers through the year to help with the cost. (Bake sales, yard sales. pop can gathering, etc.). Check out the program’s website: https://perspectivedanes.ro/ .
